Our servers run either Windows Server or a customised Linux build designed to give a highly functional and very reliable server system. These servers can operate as full in-house systems providing high speed access – and fully controlled web page access to every desktop PC or Apple Mac. This therefore gives a storage area where both PCs and Macs can share a common filestore without the need for additional software. They also enable fax sending and receiving, again to all PCs. The other major advantage they offer is full firewalling capability to protect your network – and more importantly your data – from outside intrusion, without interfering with local network traffic.
